this is my third entry.
I don't even know how to find this blog. Silly me. Had to google search myself and even then it has taken me days to figure out that it's an @ickacangmachine page. In any case, here I am and glad I came. That's a reference to a song by The Wanted - Lukas, Jacob & Kristine were asking me if I knew who they were. So I finally checked them out on You-tube today, and surprise, surprise, they are a boy band, I think from England, just like One Direction (who I like a lot!) "Glad I came" the video was all about Evissa / Ibiza and that is where we are headed for Sha-mayn and Tobias's wedding. I thought that was quite serendipitous.
Had a really bad back and front ache around my upper belly region last friday in the middle of the night. Siu and Dad took me to SGH A&E - poor dad was quite stressed out by the whole incident. It reminded him of the multiple times he drove mum there -- on his own - from Bedok. Those must have been very terrible times for both of them. It was also the 24th of August - mum's death day anniversary. He drove with his hazard lights on. I heard them talking in the front, I lay down on the back seat. Around the AYE I had to rouse to give them directions so they wouldn't take the wrong exit off the highway. So funny. My 2 men.
This was the first time I had been to hospital besides my rehab times and lazik op. First time I remember having to have a needle in my hand for the doctor to draw blood! Was less traumatic and frightening that I thought it would be. Funny thing is, I recognize the Filipina nurse who put the needle in! They did blood tests and X-rays, & the long and short of it was, they gave me an anaema, (another first! I had to wear an adult nappy - YUCKS!) said I had been constipated! That was it! Oh well. People pay lots of money for detoxing colonic-irrigation type treatments - we paid $99 haha.
Gotta go get ready to take my body downtown now.
